FLYING SCIENTISTS TO LAND IN CHARLEVILLE

CHARLEVILLE is preparing for the return of the ‘Flying Scientists’ at the Charleville Cosmos Centre.

Dr Paige Erpf from Sydney’s Macquarie University and Dr Ammarah Ghaffar from the University of Queensland will be joined by Young Science Ambassador Arijit Nandi, also from UQ.

As reported in our LOCAL NEWS this morning, the visiting trio from the big smoke will be running three sessions on Wednesday, March 25.

The first of the 90-minute sessions start at 11am, with another one to follow at 3.30pm.

For locals, it will be an opportunity to participate in “hands on” science activities whilst also learning about the presenters’ own STEM careers and research in synthetic biology and genetics.
