LONG-SERVING police officers have been recognised at an annual awards ceremony at the Charleville RSL Club.
The ceremony, held on Wednesday, involved the top brass of the Queensland Police Service for the South-West, plus veteran officers from across the region.
One of the recipients was Adavale policeman Senior Constable Chris Seng, who was saluted for his 40 years of service to the QPS.
Other officers to be recognised include Sergeant Brendan Horgan and Sergeant Brian Smith, both of whom have clocked up 35 years with the QPS.
Charleville’s top cop Senior Sergeant Noel Jones was another recipient, awarded the Queensland Police Service Emergency Response Medal.
