PACKERS MAKE IT BACK-TO-BACK TOUCH PREMIERSHIPS

CHARLEVILLE’s touch footy season is over after Touch My Pack made it back-to-back premierships tonight.

In tricky conditions at Baker Street after it bucketed down, Touch My Pack defeated arch rivals Looking To Score 5-2 after leading 3-0 at the break.

Lauren Brennan was part of the winning side and for the mother-of-three, it was an opportunity to get her hands on the silverware in front of family and friends.

“We were thinking of postponing. It was bucketing down when we started but it held off,” Brennan told 4RR-FM News, just moments after coming off the field.

“The ball was pretty slippery out there. I didn’t get to play the grand final last year because I was pregnant. I got my little boy here watching tonight which is nice.”

Tyler Wilson played a prominent role for the Packers, scoring a double, with Jack Winter, Jess Head and Riley Wilson also getting across the stripe.

For Looking To Score, who were premiers in 2024, Blake Thompson and Jed East made the scoresheet.
