PLANNING has already started for next year’s Cunnamulla Show after a huge response to the 2026 version.
According to Amy Palmer, president of the Cunnamulla & District Show Society, the show was well patronised by locals and visitors alike.
“We had 750 people through the gate,” said Ms Palmer, whose committee has now begun looking at ways to make next year’s show bigger and better.
In the long-term, the show society is hoping to bring back the grand parade – once a hallmark of the show and others around the country.
The show society was also pleased with the response to the Stockmen’s Challenge on August 14, the day just before the show.
Nominations were almost double compared to last year’s inaugural event at the Cunnamulla Showgrounds.
