STUDENTS from across the South-West have flocked to the Charleville Showgrounds for a careers expo, featuring an array of industry, education and training sector representatives.
Even 4RR-FM had a stall at the expo alongside other locally-based stallholders, joined by representatives of five universities, the Australian Defence Force and other government agencies.
“We had a lot of students asking questions,” says 4RR-FM’s Rory Williams, who was flying the flag for us from 9am when the first students were checking out the various information booths.
The agricultural component to the expo proved especially popular with many students getting a ‘hands-on’ feel for the sector.
The next event is expected to be held in 2028.
