CHARLEVILLE’s Shae Grahame isn’t afraid to show her true colours.
Despite being born and bred in Queensland, she is a passionate NSW supporter and will be cheering loudly for the Blues again tonight in Origin II.
It’s all because to her family, with Ms Grahame’s late father Gary hailing from sleepy Tingha in northern NSW – the hometown of several Rugby League stars.
They include former Dally M Medal winner Preston Campbell and former Dragons crowd favourite Nathan ‘Tingha’ Blacklock.
“NSW by 12 points,” was Ms Grahame’s score prediction when asked at the Charleville RSL Club where she works behind the bar and in the kitchen.
Charleville’s Kurt Capewell is set play his 15th game for the Maroons, who need to win at the MCG to keep the series alive.
