MARANOA MP and former Nationals Leader David Littleproud has agreed to speak LIVE on 4RR-FM as the Coalition deals with its worst ever polling.
In a major breakthrough for our station, Mr Littleproud will get behind the microphone alongside ‘Costo’ in his drive show after 4pm on Tuesday, August 4.
Today’s news comes after the Coalition’s latest slide in the polls, prompting calls from Liberal frontbencher Melissa McIntosh for her party to rebrand.
Mr Littleproud, who was elected in 2016, sits with the Nationals in Canberra even though in Queensland, he is with an amalgamated party – the LNP.
In two new polls, support for the Coalition and One Nation combined is down three points to 46% in Newspoll and four points to 47% in Redbridge.
Newspoll has the Coalition down to just to an alarming 17%, down one point to a record low – that is, never seen before in Newspoll history.
The sample was taken after One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson’s historic address to the National Press Club in Canberra on June 17.
