AVIATOR HEAPS PRAISE ON WINGS ON THE WARREGO

A FORMER bush pilot who once delivered the mail to Charleville has heaped praise on Saturday’s Wings on the Warrego airshow.

According to Jordan Westerhuis, who was at the controls of his 86-year-old biplane for the one-day event, the airshow was a great success, with up to 2000 people converging on the Charleville Airport where warbirds from various parts of the country mesmerised locals and visitors alike.
