POLICE have declared two crime scenes at Surat after the death of a man in the town yesterday.
Emergency services were called to Ivan Street at approximately 3.40pm where a man was located with life-threatening injuries.
The man was transported to Surat Hospital, where he later died.
In an initial statement issued by the Queensland Police Service, they said “the death is being treated as suspicious and investigations remain ongoing.”
At that time, police said they believed there was no ongoing threat to the community.
The cops are appealing to anyone who may have information that could assist investigations to come forward.
