ONE of the South-West’s best known caravan parks is officially up for sale.
The Cobb & Co in Charleville has been listed for $1.95 million, as reported in 4RR-FM’s News for Western Queensland.
The property covers 2.66 hectares and boasts 59 powered sites, 25 unpowered sites and nine self-contained cabins.
There are also dual camp kitchens, laundries, toilet and shower facilities and an entertainment shed.
As part of the deal, there’s even a coffee van!
Nick Lowis from Resort Brokers said the current owner had poured time and money into modernising the park in recent years.
“It really has been a labour of love,” the agent told Commercial Real Estate this week.
“One major improvement has been the fencing of the entire site, which she undertook at considerable expense. The cabins have also been refreshed, with new mattresses and bed bases.
“Demand for accommodation is growing, and the park has its share of repeat visitors who appreciate the location and the high standard to which it is maintained.”
The listing of Cobb & Co comes after no recent change in ownership for Charleville’s other ‘in-town’ van park, Bailey Bar, which been on the market for several years.
